She always knew she wanted to do an apprenticeship in a technical job. Rachel Mermod therefore completed internships as a automobile mechanic, polymechanic and automation engineer. At the time, automation engineer job was new and allowed to learn several technical disciplines such as mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and IT. She was enthusiastic! At 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗢 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗔, she deals with improving the machines manufacturing and assembly processes.
