A New SOLO Swiss automatic heat treatment line for gears industry

The SOLO Swiss furnaces manufacturer installs a second automatic heat treatment line of bell furnaces for a German group dedicated to the treatment of gears for transmission systems.

This modular SOLO Swiss automatic line is dedicated to the heat treatment of gears for transmission systems. The treated parts are used in robotics, machine tools, packaging, transportation systems, printing presses and aerospace industry.

This SOLO Swiss machine includes a hardening and carburizing bell furnace up to 950°C, a quenching salt tank up to 350°C, a tempering furnace under N2 atmosphere, a washing machine with 2 tanks, a salt recovery system, a storage rack with 11 loading/unloading ramps, a 5-axis robot, an AXRON Swiss Technology process control and supervision (www.axron.com). The  useful loading dimensions are about 700 mm diameter, 1’100 mm height for a surface of 0.38 m², a volume of 0.390 m³ and a maximum weight of a load about 500 kg.

This line in accordance to the aerospace standards  has many applications, including:

• The option of tempering in the salt tank after quenching
• A load management system with remote online maintenance
• Precise metallurgical results (low deformation, homogeneity and reproducibility of treatment)
• The cooling water is enclosed in a closed circuit and the salt recovery system allows a reduction of the environmental impact
• A washing machine equipped with salt level sensors (salinity) to optimize the consumption of electricity and cooling water
• Full automatic working mode allowing an independent functioning of the furnace

Une nouvelle ligne de traitement thermique automatique SOLO Swiss pour l’industrie des engrenages

Le constructeur de fours SOLO Swiss livre pour un groupe Allemand une seconde ligne automatique de fours à cloche entièrement automatisée destinée au traitement thermique d’engrenages pour systèmes de transmission.

Cette ligne automatique modulaire SOLO Swiss est dédiée au traitement thermique d’engrenages pour systèmes de transmission. Les pièces traitées sont utilisées dans les domaines tels que les systèmes robotiques, machines-outils, emballages, systèmes de transport, presses d'imprimerie et l'industrie aérospatiale.

L’installation est composée d’un four à cloche de trempe et cémentation avec température de travail jusqu’à 950°C, un four de revenu sous N₂, un bac sel jusqu’à 350°C, un récupérateur de sel, une machine à laver avec 2 bacs, un magasin comprenant 11 rampes de chargements / déchargement et de stockage des charges, un robot de manipulation 5 axes, un système de pilotage et de supervision Axron Swiss Technology (www.axon.com ). Les dimensions utiles de chargement sont de 700 mm de diamètre, 1’100 mm de hauteur pour une surface de 0,38 m² et un volume de 0,390 m³. Le poids maximal d'une charge est de 500 kg.

• L’eau de refroidissement en circuit fermé et le système de récupération de sel permet de réduire l’impact environnemental

La 12ème Exposition de métal & métallurgie chinoise est organisée par l'Association chinoise de l'industrie des métaux non ferreux et par le gouvernement populaire de la municipalité de Chongqing, en partenariat avec le comité du commerce et le comité de l’économie et de l'informatisation de Chongqing.
