She always knew she wanted to do an apprenticeship in a technical job. Rachel Mermod therefore completed internships as a automobile mechanic, polymechanic and automation engineer. At the time, automation engineer job was new and allowed to learn several technical disciplines such as mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and IT. She was enthusiastic!
